After I installed the F-Secure PC Protection and restarted, the computer seems to freeze and does not react. What can I do? |
|
|
The product downloads a lot of files after the installation, which may cause your computer to freeze. Please wait for a while.
If this does not help, it may be that you installed the product on top of an existing antivirus or firewall product, which was not automatically removed during the installation. In this case, you have to start the computer in Safe Mode and remove the old products manually. To do this:
- Restart the computer.
- After a few seconds, the computer asks you whether or not to go into the booting options by pressing a function button.
- When your computer opens in Safe Mode, uninstall the old antivirus product or firewall, or both.
- To do this, select Start.
- Select Control Panel.
